The mystery is finally solved. Akdong Musician (AKMU) finally revealed the reason Chanhyuk unfollowed his sister Suhyun on Instagram.

It can be recalled that AKMU fans were vexed when it was discovered that Chanhyuk was no longer following Suhyun on the social media platform.

Some fans shrugged it off as a sibling squabble between the duo but others were genuinely concerned over the incident. These same fans were worried that if the brother and sister team was fighting, the duo could break up.

Some supporters were more relaxed about the news and said that they were not worried. They said that if things escalated between the siblings, their mother would step in and force them to make up, All Kpop reported.

In an interview, Chanhyuk brushed off the unfollowing incident and said that he didn't mean anything by it. He said that he stopped following his sister on social media because he only wanted to follow people who matched his vibe on Instagram.

He admitted that he was surprised that it got so much attention. As for Suhyun, she said that she didn't even notice that her brother unfollowed her until she read the news about it. She assured fans that it was no big deal and that she didn't feel bad about it at all.

She also said that she and her brother were not fighting and were working peacefully with each other on their music. In fact, they were so in sync that they agreed on which artist they would like to collaborate with in the future.

According to the sibling duo, they want to work with veteran singer Lee So Ra. The singer, recently, worked with Suhyun on the show Begin Again and performed "Moon," a song that was written by Chanhyuk.

He said he was blown away when Lee So Ra sang the song because she introduced so many elements to the track. Chanhyuk admitted that he couldn't believe that that the song could change so much.

Suhyun agreed with her brother and said that she would be thrilled if she could work with and learn from her senior. She added that, if Lee So Ra agrees on a collaboration, it would be a dream come true.

AKMU recently released their comeback song "HAPPENING" last November 16, roughly a month after Suhyun's solo debut "Alien".

Suhyun said that her solo track was written by her brother but it was a different feeling to interpret her song as a solo artist as compared to their duet performances.
