"Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" introduces a new feature called Exfil. It enables players to escape the map by calling a chopper to extract them. The only issue is that the game announced that it exists, but it does not explain how this works.
What is Exfil?
Instead of having to push through the endless waves of zombies in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War," players now have the chance to exfil or exfiltrate themselves from the map. Those who successfully escape the map receive bonus rewards in the form of bonus XP and sometimes Raw Aetherium Crystals.
How to Exfil in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War"
The option to exfil in "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" is only available after surviving round 10 of Zombies match. To begin the exfil process, players must interact with the radio located in the map's starting area. If the exfil is available, a star icon will be seen on the player's HUD.
The majority of the team must vote in favor of the extraction for the exfil to start. When all the team members agreed to the extraction, an extraction chopper will arrive to pull the team out of the area. It is worth noting that the helicopter always lands in the Pond area, so players must ensure that they have purchased enough doors to reach the proper zone.
However, calling for extraction is not the only thing that "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" players need to do. The landing zone will be filled with Zombies and the team has only 90seconds to achieve the successful exfil. Unfortunately, if the team dies or the landing zone is not cleared in time, the helicopter will be destroyed and the match will end.
Other Details
As "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" players survive more rounds, the strength of the Undead increases. Hell hounds and zombie bosses will do everything to prevent players from escaping. Players must have enough weapons and gear to survive the onslaught while waiting for the exfil. It is recommended to Pack-A-Punch weapons and upgrade gear before calling the final stand.
If the team managed to survive the exfil for three times, they can unlock the Operator Park for the NATO faction. This could be used in "Call of Duty: Warzone," "Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War" Multiplayer and Zombies.
