Game developer miHoYo announced the fourth limited gacha banner in "Genshin Impact," featuring Zhongli. Also called "Vago Mundo," Zhongli is a five-star Geo and Polearm user. Here are some basic information about the new character in the game and how to get him.

How to Get Zhongli

Since "Genshin Impact" features a gacha element, there is no method on how to secure Zhongli other than to rely on luck. Players should stack lots of Primogems if they were waiting for Vago Mundo and did not pull the Childe banner. Players could compete tasks and quests in the Unreconciled Stars event to get more Primogems.

Zhongli's Skills

miHoYo earlier released visual guides showing Zhongli's skills. His Elemental Skill is called Dominus Lapidus. In just a tap, it summons a Stone Stele. This elemental skill could be used to block attacks or a platform to climb up to.

It deals with AoE Geo DMG and resonates with other Geon constructs. It also deals with more DMG. When the Dominus Lapidis is charged, it creates a shield with Zhongli's max HP as the DMG Absorption scaling. It also absorbs Geo DMG 250% more and deals AoE Geo on trigger.

Zhongli Banner Event

The latest Zhongli banner event in "Genshin Impact" is called Gentry of Hermitage. It starts at 6 p.m. on Dec. 1 and lasts until 2:59 p.m. on Dec 22. During this event, the player's pity counter transfers from one Limited banner to another. The pity counter limit is 90, wherein on the player's 90th pull, he is guaranteed to get a 5-star, with a 50% chance that it is the feature character.

If the player cannot get the feature character on the 90th pull, he is guaranteed to get Zhongli on the next 90th pull. This also carries over to the next Limited banner event. Essentially, if the "Genshin Impact" player did not get Childe on his 90th pull, he is guaranteed to get Zhongli on his next 90th pull.

The banner event also features exclusive 5-star weapons called Vortex Vanquisher and The Unforged. Some players do not like pulling on the weapon banner since they prefer pulling characters. Pulling a weapon could give players the weapon they do not like or want.

The new event is part of the new major update dubbed as A new Star Approaches, which launched in the game on Nov. 11. "Genshin Impact" is currently available on PC, PS4, iOS and Android devices. The game is also set to release on Nintendo Switch soon.
