On the same week Prince William made a video to honor the inspiring conservation volunteers in Africa for the Tusk awards, Prince Harry helped launch a new Netflix-style environmentalist platform that he said will not just inspire but also put words into action.

The timing of the video release brought on speculations that Prince William and Harry are in a publicity battle. Questions from The Guardian have been raised regarding which duke is trying to one-up the other with their charity PR "tug-of-war."

However, there is no doubt that both dukes are sincere in their efforts to help with conservation charities, according to PR expert James Brooke, who spoke with The Guardian. However, Brooke analyzed that William and Harry's communications team didn't seem to coordinate with each other. The expert said that the brothers' issues with each other might still run deep.

It's not just Prince William and Harry who were in the news in the last week. Their wives, Kate Middleton, the Duchess of Cambridge, and Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, also had significant press coverage in the same week.

Kate unveiled the results of her monumental 5 Big Questions Under Five Survey that had over 500,000 respondents. This initiative will drive the work that the Duchess of Cambridge will deliver in 2021 for the Cambridge's Royal Foundation.

Meghan, on the other hand, confirmed that she had a miscarriage in July in a New York Times op-ed piece. Experts and fans alike have hailed the Duchess of Sussex's revelation as it will help break down the stigma against women who have had a pregnancy loss.

In the last few weeks, both brothers also had to speak up about the ongoing investigation of Princess Diana's old interview with BBC. While Prince William released an official statement to say he's supporting the move, Prince Harry had no statement, which raised another question from the public.

In response to this, Prince Harry's camp said that there's no need to make a statement, but he is up-to-date on the matter concerning his deceased mother. The source also said that some people are simply "trying to drive a wedge" between him and Prince William.

Further nixing suggestions of the dukes' rift, royal expert Brittani Barger of Royal Central said that Prince Harry was likely worried for Prince William when he contracted COVID-19 in April. Barger said that it might have even stressed out the Duke of Sussex that he's separated from his family while Prince William and Prince Charles had the disease. He was likely told by his family and didn't find out about William's sickness seven months later, like the rest of the world.
