Things are truly getting exciting in The Mandalorian Season 2 as the latest episode raises the stakes. In addition to bringing back Boba Fett and immediately letting the character loose on a bunch of helpless Stormtroopers, "Chapter 14: The Tragedy" confirmed that Fennec Shand survived after the events in the previous season. Not surprisingly, fans are loving Ming-Na Wen's return as the assassin, and even the actress is delighted to be back in the Star Wars series.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6 was the shortest episode of the Star Wars series so far, clocking in at 32 minutes. However, there is not a moment wasted in "Chapter 14: The Tragedy" as it immediately jumps into the story, bringing Mando and Baby Yoda to the Jedi Temple on the planet Tython. There, they are followed by Boba Fett, who wants to take back the Mandalorian armor that Mando confiscated from Cobb Vanth in the premiere episode.

Interestingly, Boba Fett is not alone. Mando is shocked when it is revealed that he is accompanied by Fennec Shand, who has been left for dead in the Season 1 episode "Chapter 5: The Gunslinger". However, Boba quickly explains that he found the assassin and nursed her back to health, using cybernetics to restore her.

Fennec Shand's return was a huge surprise for Star Wars fans hoping that the episode will feature another Jedi who could help train Baby Yoda. Nevertheless, it was a welcome one considering that people felt the character didn't get to do enough in the first season.

Amazingly, even Ming-Na Wen couldn't help but celebrate the fact that her character is back in The Mandalorian Season 2. The Agents of SHIELD actress took to her official Twitter account to share the teaser for "Chapter 14: The Tragedy" along with a celebratory caption.

So are we going to see more of Fennec Shand in The Mandalorian Season 2? Fans can rest assured that the assassin and Boba Fett will continue to play a large role in the Star Wars series. After all, both agreed to help Mando rescue Baby Yoda, who has been taken away from the Dark Troopers working for Moff Gideon. With that in mind, the trio will be preparing for a lot of action in the last two episodes of the second season.

The Mandalorian Season 2 Episode 6 is titled "Chapter 14: The Tragedy". It is currently streaming on Disney+.
