Re: Zero fans are up for a double treat. Aside from the coming Re: Zero Season 2 Part 2, Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne is also dropping.
Re: Zero Season 2 Part 2 drops its official trailer, giving a glimpse of Subaru and Satella. After the previous season left fans hanging with a slew of revelations without answers, its return may finally tie the loose ends.
The clip shows Subaru taking Satella's hands. It seems to hint that he has finally accepted his real personality, as well as his ability of "Return by Death power." This may also begin for Subaru to start treasuring his life and trust the people around him, Epic Dope noted.
In the manga's continuation, Subaru will continue his expedition and try to escape from the Sanctuary. He will do his best to save the village's people without hurting Emilia.
In the previous episode, fans saw Otto trying to instill some sense into Subaru when he was "lost" and couldn't find a way to move on. Now, the big question would be, could Subaru leave the Sanctuary without making his way to the graveyard?
Fans also wonder if he will start to depend on his Return by Death power or if Garfield will again stand in his way. Re: Zero Season 2 Part 2 will be seed adapting the events of the light novel's Volumes 10 to 15.
Meanwhile, the anime's official Twitter account revealed it would hold a special live event. It would feature the series' voice actors, Yusuke Kobayashi and Rie Takahashi, who play the roles of Subaru and Emilia, respectively.
The post said the live broadcast would be announced on Thursday, December 10. As a Christmas treat to fans, there would also be some information about the show's second half and collaboration.
In addition, Spike Chunsoft dropped the English version of Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne game's second character trailer for PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The clip also showed the new English voice cast for its additional characters, Anime News Network cited.
Re: ZERO -Starting Life in Another World-: The Prophecy of the Throne is set to be out on January 28 in Japan, January 29 in North America, and February 5 in Europe. Re: Zero Season 2 Part 2, on the other hand, will drop in January 2021.
