Wei's Kim Yo Han and actress So Ju Yeon showed off their adorable chemistry during the script reading of the Korean version of A Love So Beautiful. 

According to a report by All Kpop, the two lead actors attended the script reading and infected other members of the cast with their positive spirits. Among those who attended the script reading were Yeo Hwe Hyun, Jo Hye Joo, and Jung Jin Hwan.

A Love So Beautiful was a Chinese drama that aired in 2017. It starred two of China's hottest young stars, namely Hu Yitian and Shen Yue. 

Shen Yue played the role of Chen Xiaoxi, a high school student who was in love with her next-door neighbor and classmate Jiang Chen. The drama chronicled their high school and college days as they developed feelings for each other.

In the Korean version, So Ju Yeon will fill the shoes of Shen Yue and play the role of Shin Sol Yi, a bright girl who harbors an uncontrollable crush on her classmate Cha Heon (Kim Yo Han).

The Korean version of A Love So Beautiful is produced by Kakao TV. It will premiere on December 28.

Apart from A Love So Beautiful, So Ju Yeon was also cast in another Kakao TV drama entitled Lovestruck in the City.

The series, which will premiere on December 22, will take on a short form drama format with multiple seasons.

So Ju Yeon was cast in the drama as the long-time girlfriend of the character of Kim Min Seok. They will depict the challenges that long time couples encounter.

For the first season of Lovestruck in the City entitled My Lovable Camera Thief, Kim Ji Won and Ji Chang Wook were cast in the lead roles. 

Ji Chang Wook will play the role of an architect who falls in love with a mysterious "camera thief" one night in Seoul. Kim Ji Won will take on the role of an average woman who adopts an alter ego after falling in love with the architect. 

The drama was originally set to premiere last December 8. However, the airing date was pushed back because of COVID-19 related delays in the production, Straits Times reported.
