Riot Games launched the "League of Legends: Wild Rift" patch 1.1 recently ahead of the game's open beta release in various regions. The new patch introduced several improvements to the game. This includes changes in mana regeneration.

Riot Games introduced considerable gameplay changes. It includes the standardizations of ultimate ability costs. Additionally, it nerfed mana regeneration by a considerable portion of the currently available champions. Moreover, the game developer also made several changes to the mana cost of various ability in the early part of the game.

It appears that the devs realized that providing champions with too much mana early on cause very low consequences when it comes to early-game decision making. Dragon Souls system received a buff in the latest patch, particularly in its ability to enhance the impact of the objective on the game. There are also minor technical updates rolled out in "League of Legends: Wild Rift."

This includes improvements in matchmaking, lower ping, and modifications of the game's social aspects. Aside from these, the latest patch also introduced three new champions. These champions were earlier teased in the dev diary ahead of the patch's launch. Draven and the heavily speculated Darius are available in the game through the Noxian Brotherhood event, while Wukong is anticipated to arrive soon.

Darius and Draven have a couple of unique skins and more skins are also available for other "League of Legends: Wild Rift" champions. Meanwhile, Riot Games scheduled the official release of "League of Legends: Wild Rift" open beta in other regions. On Dec. 8, it launched on Taiwan, Oceania and Vietnam.

While players in Europe, MENA (the Middle East and North Africa), Turkey, Russia and CIS could enjoy the game starting Dec. 10. Unfortunately, "League of Legends: Wild Rift" players in South America, North America and India would have to wait a little longer. Riot Games has not yet revealed the specific release date of the game's open beta in these regions except for the Spring 2021 release window.

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" is the upcoming mobile MOBA title from Riot Games. It is a much toned-down "LoL" experience that players could enjoy on their iOS and Android devices. The game has a shorter match time and features a much smaller Summoner's Rift. According to Riot, the game would soon be released to gaming consoles in the future.

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" is currently in its open beta launch and is only exclusive to some select regions.
