Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 3 is arriving on weekend on CBS, with the title "No Way Out." A hostage crisis is going to be the biggest storyline within this episode. Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez), Juliet Higgins (Perdita Weeks), and T.C. Calvin (Stephen Hill) must find a way to get out of the situation.

According to the synopsis of Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 3, Magnum, T.C., and Higgins try to pull on a customs agent to help the latter get a green card. However, they were caught in the middle of a dangerous situation when shooters showed up at the federal building and began taking hostages.

The hostage crisis will be different since this isn't a case-of-the-week they have to take on. The three of them have no weapons, so they must find a way to survive and protect other people within the premise. They must figure out how to get help from the outside.

A team effort is highly needed, which was shown in the promo of Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 3. Magnum tries to get help from Gordon Katsumoto (Tim Kang), while others will be negotiating with the gunmen. All of them need to work together to ensure their safety.

Even though Magnum and Gordon tend to clash most of the time, they team up during a crisis. As for Higgins, she's still recovering from her injury, so she may sit back from the action. Yet, she's still going to help Magnum and T.C. in protecting everyone inside the building.

Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 3 will be the last one for this calendar year. The crime-action drama is going on a holiday break after this one. It could potentially leave some huge cliffhanger, making viewers excited with its return in 2021.

One of the biggest mysteries was the driver of the white SUV. This is something that will play out in the latest installment. Katsumoto told Magnum to do some digging and ask the rental establishment. Later on, they found out that Thomas Magnum's name was written in the application.

It looks like someone is framing and stalking the titular character. There's no clear evidence regarding the driver's identity. Perhaps, this person was someone Magnum knows, considering his history. A lot of things will unfold as the series progresses.

Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 3 airs on Friday, Dec. 18, on CBS.
