Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 2 is set to arrive next month on CBS. The crime-action series has yet to premiere on the network, but it's already teasing fans what's coming in the latest installment. Here's what viewers can expect in "Easy Money."
Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 2 will revolve around Juliet Higgins' (Perdita Weeks) storyline and it's going to be full of surprises. The story starts with an incident while aboard a plane, but the situation gets complicated and dangerous later on.
Based on the synopsis of Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 2, Higgins was tasked to repo a plane. However, her job goes sideways when she and Thomas Magnum (Jay Hernandez) found out that the plane was being used by a drug cartel, who opens fire at them.
Higgins and Magnum were forced to crash land into the jungle. But then, they find a stowaway on board the plane with a target on his back. This is a new case that they need to take on, but it won't be easy for them as they recognize that the drug cartel may have been after them, as well.
Aside from the action, Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 2 will bring a personal storyline for Higgins. She will have her first date with Dr. Ethan Shah (Jay Ali), her new love interest. This is a notable part of the story, given that Weeks' character hasn't really had any romantic relationships.
It's nice to see how Dr. Shah's arrival could impact Higgins. The two meet in an unexpected situation in the premiere when the latter was being treated due to an injury. The "confident and charming" trauma surgeon will ask her out after her operation at the Kings Medical Hospital.
In episode 1, "Double Jeopardy," Higgins gets shot when their new clients asked her and Thomas to locate their missing brother last seen on the island. Due to the injury she sustained, Weeks' character will be treated at the hospital where she'll first encounter Dr. Shah.
It seems like the trauma surgeon will be part of the story for quite a long time. However, his presence could bring tension between Higgins and Magnum, who might feel jealous. The two weren't romantically involved, but the latter isn't used that another man caught his partner's attention.
There could be some restrictions between Higgins and Magnum if she decided to enter a romantic relationship with Dr. Shah. The crime partners won't be able to spend too much time anymore, and Hernandez's character might feel left out because of that.
Magnum P.I. season 3 episode 2 airs on Friday, Dec. 11, on CBS.
