Fans are now looking forward to the coming of The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 after Season 4's ending in March. Fortunately, the anime quickly receives a renewal, so viewers only have to wait for its official release on the small screen.
Fans will surely see Meliodas and the rest of the cast in The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5. With the previous season's success, the hopes are now high for the fifth installment.
According to Devdiscourse, the upcoming season will officially be called The Seven Deadly Sins: The Judgment of Anger. Meliodas, Elizabeth, Hawk, Dianne, Van, King, Gowther, Merlin, and Escanor will be seen standing against the flames.
There will be a strong enemy and a visual that shows the Seven Deadly Sins members facing their own destiny. In the previous season, Meliodas showed everyone his true demonic form as the Ten Commandments leader.
As this revelation surprised many, it might have a major repercussion in The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5. In addition, the anime's main Japanese voice actors will all return in the new season.
If Netflix follows suit, the English voice actors may also reprise their roles, Looper noted. Once again, fans may hear Yûki Kaji and Bryce Papenbrook as Meliodas, Misaki Kuno, and Cristina Valenzuela as Hawk, Sora Amamiya, and Erika Harlacher as Elizabeth. Also, Aoi Yûki and Erica Mendez will lend their voice again as Diane, Jun Fukuyama and Max Mittelman as King, and Mamoru Miyano and Robbie Daymond as Glithunder, among others.
Meanwhile, The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5's theme songs are now out. Monsters and Critics cited the opening theme would be Akihito Okano's, the Porno Graffitti's vocalist, "Let There Be Light" or "Hikari Are."
On the other hand, the ending theme would be titled "Time," which is the collaboration song of Hiroyuki Sawano and ReoNa. The said two melodies were both composed by Sawano.
Originally, The Seven Deadly Sins Season 5 is set to be out later this year. However, due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it was moved to a later date.
Last month, it was officially announced that the manga series' new season would be out on Wednesday, January 6, 2021. However, it remains to be seen when it will hit Netflix, although there are strong assumptions that it will drop anytime next year as well.
