Melania Trump and Donald Trump returned to doing the annual Christmas portrait last week. The couple missed the tradition last year but, decided to give it a go on their final holiday inside the White House.

Several fans and supporters applauded the First Couple's choice of sartorial pieces. They wore matching tuxedos and chose to use the Grand Staircase as their background.

However, News.com reported that critics, also, have something to say about the portrait. Many speculated that the First Lady and the U.S. President used photoshop in the material, adding that they were never in it in the first place. Some netizens even pointed out the "obvious" tells, proving that they only added their faces in the photo.

On Twitter, the accusers expressed their thoughts in the comment section of Melania Trump's post. This began after she posted the official portrait on her account on the platform.

"Was Donald lifted out of a photo from this same meeting," one netizen asked. The user included a photo of Donald Trump, alongside Prince Charles, during their last meeting in the United Kingdom in 2019. In comparison to the Christmas portrait, it appears as if the U.S. President was "copied and pasted."

Several Twitter users chimed in on the post and conceded that the portrait was, indeed, "photoshopped." It is the "same," and this means that "they could not get dressed up for a real photo," one netizen stated.

But, despite the continued accusations, many individuals still believe that it was not the same photo of Donald Trump. Some even emphasized that they are not fans of the U.S. President before explaining their thoughts.

"It's clearly not," a different Twitter user posted. "This does not appear to be the same photo," one netizen replied, explaining that there are "significant differences between the two photos."

The two photos "are similar but, not the same," another individual shared. The user, then, pointed out the differences, which include Melania Trump's husband's hair and hands, as well as the way he looked toward the camera.

As the talks about the photoshop controversy remain apparent, Melania Trump and Donald Trump remained tight-lipped about the matter. They did not seemingly pay attention to the assertions and, instead, focused on their own respective works.

The First Couple will leave the White House in January after Joe Biden takes his inauguration. As for where they will relocate, sources claimed that they are likely to move to Florida, either on the grounds of Mar-a-Lago or somewhere nearby.
