Both characters are already trying to convince players to side with them, and for those who want to make the right choice, this guide might come in handy.
Who Are Dex And Evelyn in "Cyberpunk 2077"
In the world of "Cyberpunk 2077," Dex is a renowned fixer known across Night City. Evelyn, on the other hand, is the one responsible for assigning the gig. At this point, players have a limited idea of which among these characters is the worse to stab in the back.
To begin, this heist centers on a biochip that's in Arasaka's possession. Dex is the first person to get the players involved in this heist and would offer them a cut after doing a small mission to prove their worth. Interestingly, players would stumble into a client who has the details on the location of the biochip.
The client is Evelyn Parker, and she would show players a braindance of her going to Yorinobu Arasaka's penthouse. Yorinobu is the second son of the Arasaka family who holds the biochip for sale to a random buyer. Players come in as V, and he would be offered a massive amount of money to take instead.
Who Should "Cyberpunk 2077" Players Choose
Evelyn will ask players to do this job just for her and to cut Dex the fixer out of the equation. This is a risky move since fixers have connections. However, Evelyn is the one who gives the job, which means she got the keys to the mansion, technically.
"Cyberpunk 2077" could commit to Evelyn and could say that they would think about it or just tell her outright no. It does not really matter at this point since Dex is still out of the loop. Players should not lock in their decision just yet. The time players would be required to make the final decision is when they meet Jackie and Dex in the bar and update him on what's next.
Players would be given a choice to rat Evelyn out or to keep the player's deal with her a secret. If players rat Evelyn out, Dex would increase their cut in the final stake to 40%. But, players should not fall for it because either way, they would not get any pay from him. Ratting Evelyn out has no benefit, and it does not achieve a whole lot in the long run.
However, Evelyn is a better character, and she is loyal to V. Regardless of the players' choice, the same scenarios would play out. The choice, unfortunately, boils down to which character the player prefers.
