How To Get The Festering Desire Sword in "Genshin Impact"
Players who want to get the Festering Desire Sword in "Genshin Impact" should complete the entire Albedo quest chain in The Chalk Prince and the Dragon. The new four-star one-hand sword is a free reward at the end of the quest. It features an Energy Recharge secondary stat with a passive perk called Undying Admiration that increases Elemental Skill DMG by 16% and Elemental Skill CRIT Rate by 6%.
Albedo will personally hand the Festering Desire Sword to the player during the Festering Desire questline. It is where Sucrose would ask about Albedo's secret. He will present this sword to players after they have taken out a few opponents, including Cryo Slimes and Treasure Hoarders. It appears that Albedo got a hold of this weapon from the seized Treasure Hunter goods and has been tinkering on it to learn more of its origin.

"Genshin Impact" players who equip the Festering Desire Sword during The Chalk Prince and the Dragon event will get special buffs in the game's latest area, Dragonspine. Additionally, they receive gains bonus DMG dealt through Scarlet Quartzes and additional CRIT DMG to enemies in the Dragonspine area. Aside from those, players who equip this new one-hand sword will collect Sheer Cold at a slower rate and gain bonus CRIT Rate against enemies in Dragonspine area.
It is worth noting that the Festering Desire Sword utilizes ascension materials such as the Dandelion Gladiator, Heavy or Mitachurl Horn and Insignia items. Players could further refine the new four-star sword in the event shop by using Festering Dragon Marrow on it.
As for its perks, it includes Undying Admiration that adds 16% elemental skill damage and increases elemental skill crit rate by 16%.
