The Gauntlet mode is a mini-game in "Among Us". However, unlike other custom modes within the social deduction title, this one requires one crewmate to face one impostor with the fastest group winning the game. Here are the important things players should take note of when playing the Gauntlet game mode in "Among Us."

The Gauntlet Rules in "Among Us"

The goal of this mode is just like the classic gameplay of "Among Us." The impostors still need to kill all crewmates in order to win the game while crewmates still have to complete all their tasks to score a win. What makes The Gauntlet mini-game is the process of achieving these goals.

As the game starts, all players need to stay at spawn and crewmates must determine who among them goes first. The impostors need to do the same. When everyone is ready, the first crewmate is released to the game to start completing tasks. After 15 or 20 seconds, one impostor is released in the game.

The Impostor must locate and kill the crewmate before he finishes his tasks. Should the crewmate completes all the tasks before the impostor could kill him, an Emergency Meeting would be called. The whole group would then vote out the impostor.

Should the impostor become successful in killing the crewmate, the impostor should go back to spawn and let the next crewmate play. The next impostor would be released as well after a few seconds head start by the crewmate. Some groups mute their microphones during the time the impostor and crewmate are running the Gauntlet.

Through this, no one could reveal the impostor or crewmate's position. This is just an optional choice, but a great way to prevent any players from ruining the entire gaming experience. The game goes on until either the impostors have killed all the crewmates or the crewmates have completed all their tasks.
