Gwen Stefani turned 51-years-old last October. But, despite her age, she appears to have maintained her youthful glow and health.
Gossip Cop recently released a report about the matter, centering on the artist's secrets to staying healthy and fit. These include her eating habits and workout routines.
Speaking to Mix 104.1 radio, the "Cool" singer revealed that she does not eat meat. Reports, then, stated that she focuses on eating "organic fruits and veggies."
Gwen Stefani previously noted that she would like to have "no rules" when it comes to her food choices. She would want to eat whatever she wants.
However, being unable to wear some of her clothes disappoints her over the years. This has seemingly become her "great motivation" to make healthy choices for herself.
TMZ unearthed a copy of the singer's backstage demands, supporting the reports about her healthy lifestyle. The list of requests includes "vitamin waters," a hot tea bar for her chosen organic teas, and ingredients for her "pre-show drink."
Gwen Stefani, also, adds vegetable and fruit trays, as well as cashews and almonds, which must be all organic. She, later on, shared that she has to have a "decaf English breakfast tea with vanilla soy milk" in her dressing room.
The No Doubt artist began with her vegetarian journey as early as 12-years-old, according to Cheat Sheet. She, also, has, reportedly, gone "full vegan" from time to time.
As for Gwen Stefani's workout routines, she admitted to playing tennis with Blake Shelton, adding that she does it "badly" for her workout. After a game, they would go to the gym for a more elaborate routine.
Reports said that she likes to do "squats and lunges," in addition to lifting light weights. In general, though, she works out at least four times a week. She spends about 60 to 75 minutes per session and tries to focus more on "circuit training" and "high-intensity weight training."
Alongside these routines, Stefani, also, utilizes cardiovascular training to maintain her fitness further. She prefers to do movements that use her whole body to burn more calories. These include rowing, jumping ropes, and cycling.
Amid all the talks about her diet and fitness activities, she emphasized that she has "no secret." She mentioned, however, that one should only "eat healthy, work out, and torture yourself." But, she confessed that she no longer does these things in a "crazy" way as she used to in the past.
