BTS Suga revealed that it may take six months to fully recover from his shoulder surgery.

In a recent V Live broadcast, the BTS rapper addressed fans' concerns about his recovery by providing them with an update on his condition, Soompi reported.

According to Suga, he still cannot rotate his arm to a full 90 degrees. He compared his arms to that of an infant because it still hurts when he tries to move it too much.

Suga said that it would take six months to recover from his surgery completely.

He also updated fans on his rehabilitation. He shared that the process is quite slow and is limited to his range of movements in the meantime.

This means he cannot perform any of BTS's complicated dance moves for now.

He assured fans that he would participate in activities that do not require excessive movements. For now, he is following the doctors' advice to refrain from strenuous physical activities. It can be recalled that he had his shoulder surgery last November.

He told ARMYs that there is a strong possibility that he will be attending Big Hit Entertainment's 2021 New Years' Eve Live concert. However, he still cannot hold the microphone with his left hand. He will most likely participate without performing the dance choreographies.

Suga assured fans that Big Hit is doing all that they can to ensure a safe event. He said that Big Hit Entertainment is taking care of all the people involved in the production and not just its artists. He urged fans to rest easy and because preparations are being made carefully.

Meanwhile, Big Hit Entertainment is not the only agency to hold a New Year extravaganza. SM Entertainment announced that it would also be holding a New Year's concert, which will be available for free.

According to a report by Korea Joong, SM Entertainment will stream the SM Town Live: Culture Humanity concert featuring SM's biggest second, third and fourth generation superstars.
