"Among Us" features a lot of tasks, with only a handful of them classified as Common Tasks. Knowing which tasks in the game are Common and knowing who is not doing their Common Task could lead players to the discovery of the impostor's identity.

Common Tasks in "Among Us" vary depending on the map. Among all the maps available in the game, Polus is the only one with more Common Tasks than any other location. The game is anticipating the arrival of the Airship map in 2021, but it remains to be seen if Innersloth would feature more Common Tasks on the upcoming map.

Common Tasks On Polus Map

There are four Common Tasks that crewmates must complete in the Polus map in "Among Us." This includes Fixing the Wiring. This particular task is available on all maps of the game and requires more time to complete.

Also, players are frustrated about this task since only the last wiring panels could affect the taskbar. This makes this incredibly hard to tell how long this Common Task could take to complete. Each panel could take players approximately ten of fifteen seconds to complete.

Another Common Task is Inserting Keys. It is the easiest task if players know what they are doing. This task takes around five or ten seconds to finish. Scanning Boarding Pass is another Common Task that crewmates have to complete in the Polus map in "Among Us."

Just like inserting keys, this task barely takes time. Players just need to flip over their pass and hold it over the scanner. This Common Task is estimated to take less than ten seconds to complete. Finally, Swiping Card is another Common Task that crewmates must complete in Polus.

Depending on the player's skills, the task could take between five seconds and a minute. This task is easier to perform on mobile than on PC.

Why Is It Important To Know Common Tasks Details In "Among Us"

It is crucial that players know how long each Common Task takes in "Among Us" because impostors are not allowed to do these tasks themselves. There are times when impostors would pretend that they are doing these tasks. However, if players know how long every task could take, they can easily spot the impostor. With this knowledge and a little practice, players can determine who is actually doing the Common Task and who is just pretending.

"Among Us" is now available on PC, Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android devices.
