Innersloth earlier announced that a new map called Airship is coming to "Among Us" soon. Interestingly, while fans are waiting for the new map, some modders have come up with an ingenious idea to make the online multiplayer social deduction game more exciting. The new mod called Doctor introduces a new character in the game
Rules Of The Doctor Mod in "Among Us"
Popular YouTuber Socksfor1 recently shared a video showing the game "Among Us" played with a new character called the Doctor. In this mode, one of the crewmates takes the role of a doctor who has the power to revive crewmates. While this may seem like a convenient addition, the challenge is that the doctor can only revive the dead when he is standing near the body and that he has no immunity against the impostor.
This makes the doctor the primary target of the impostor before he moves to other crewmates. To make the mode more challenging, the impostor is allowed to dress up like the doctor and act the part. In a meeting, the doctor is allowed to share his identity with the group.
However, since he has no immunity against the impostor, the impostor could claim that he is the real doctor and throw suspicion on the real doctor. Meanwhile, after reviving the dead player, the doctor is not allowed to rat out the impostor to other crewmates. The doctor in "Among Us" is tasked to travel around the map to look for slain crewmates.
He will have a Revive Button located in the bottom right corner of the screen. The impostor can use this button if he is within range of the dead body. Other crewmates can move erratically to get the doctor's attention if he does not see a dead body.
However, this could be dangerous and could cause the crewmate to get killed in the process. The new Doctor mod in "Among Us" features something new, unique, interesting and a little bit different from the classic game. It can make the whole gaming experience a lot more stimulating and fun.
Other Details
"Among Us" players can also try other mods that introduce additional roles like a Detective or a Sheriff. They could set new rules that players should adhere to follow to make it more interesting. While playing the Doctor mod, players could also use doctor skins and hats for their character.
