Queen Elizabeth's first great-grandchild, Savannah Phillips, is a year older! Now 10 years old, Savannah celebrated her birthday on Dec. 29 with her parents, Peter and Autumn Phillips, and sister, Isla Phillips.

Savannah's father is the first grandson of the Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh. Peter is the eldest son of Princess Anne, with her ex-husband Mark Phillips, and the brother of Zara Tindall.

According to Royal Central, Savannah was the 12th in line to the throne at her birth in 2010. She moved down the line and is now at 16th when her younger Cambridge cousins -- Prince George, Princess Charlotte, and Prince Louis -- were born in 2013, 2015, and 2018, respectively. Savannah will be the 17th in line to the throne once her aunt, Princess Eugenie, gives birth to her first baby in early 2021, with her husband Jack Brooksbank. /

Despite her position in the line of succession, Savannah doesn't have any royal titles. According to BBC, the children and grandchildren of the monarch's daughter (Princess Anne) are not necessarily entitled to have the HRH (His/Her Royal Highness) distinctions.

Princess Anne also declined Queen Elizabeth's offer to make a title for Peter. Thus, Savannah's father became the first baby born to a blood-royal princess without any title n the last 500 years, according to the Washington Post.

According to royal experts, Princess Anne felt that giving her children royal titles will actually be a hindrance and not a privilege. Since Peter doesn't have a title or royal rank, then his offspring won't have any either.

Savannah's mother, on the other hand, is also a commoner. Autumn was born and raised in Canada, where she met Peter at work. Initially, Autumn was not aware of Peter's status as Queen Elizabeth's first grandson. She agreed to uproot her life to the United Kingdom when she married Peter in 2008.

Two years later, Savannah was born as the first royal baby who holds dual citizenship as a Canadian and British. By 2012, Savannah became a big sister to Isla, and, the next year, the girls welcomed their first male cousin, Prince George, the third in line to the British throne.

According to Daily Express, Savannah and Isla are close to George due to their ages. But Savannah is fonder of hanging out and playing with her cousin during royal family gatherings. A source said that while Savannah and George goof around a lot, she is different towards her other cousin, Charlotte, as she acts more like a big sister to her.
