Jungkook is already in his early 20s, but ARMYs still see him as their baby. Even the BTS members treat the Golden Maknae as their adorable youngest brother despite becoming taller and gaining muscle mass over the years.

So when Jungkook made a mistake during the 2021 New Year’s Eve Live (NYEL), the BTS members and ARMYs burst into UwUs. It is also worth noting that his mishap was something that fans expect from him.

During the Meet & Greet segment, the members were told to get some questions inside the ornaments hanging on a tree. When it was Jungkook’s turn, the “My Time” singer decided to pick the one with a purple paper inside.

“That’s purple. This one’s for me. It’s cute,” he said. Purple has become an official color of BTS and ARMYs after V said that it is the last color of the rainbow, which means that he will trust and love the fans for a long time. Also, purple is the color of Jungkook’s microphone, which is why he was drawn to the purple paper.

However, instead of just getting the paper inside of the ornament, Jungkook took the whole thing. The host saw what JK was holding and told him to only get the paper out.

After the host corrected Jungkook, he laughed and slowly returned the ornament to the tree. The older boys found this mistake extremely cute and giggled as well.

“You’re the first one to do that today (taking the whole ornament),” the host said.

What makes the whole thing hilarious for ARMYs is the fact that they know how much Jungkook likes free stuff. Despite being a multi-millionaire, the Golden Maknae is known for bringing some props from the set home. That being said, it is hard not to imagine that the BTS star was planning to take the ornament with him after the show.

Meanwhile, Jungkook also has some barely noticeable mistakes, especially during their performances. When JK encountered a wardrobe malfunction while performing “We Are Bulletproof: Pt.2” during BTS’ two-day virtual concert MAP OF THE SOUL ON: E, he took it like a total pro.

Jungkook realized that one of his boots became unzipped and knew he had to fix it as the song’s choreography required extreme footwork. The BTS star bent down and zipped his boot to the beat of the song, making it look like he was jamming with his members. His quick fix was so smooth that it was unnoticeable unless someone pointed it out.
