RM seems to be getting more buff by the minute. While the BTS leader already had an okay figure during their rookie days, the “Persona” rapper is taking things up a notch and gained more muscle mass — especially in his arms.

Thirsty ARMYs have already trended RM’s arms earlier this year, and the 26-year-old rapper, songwriter, and record producer admitted that he knew about it. However, the BTS star played coy and claimed that his arms only appeared huge than they really were because of the tight shirt that he was wearing at the time.

While RM’s humble explanation makes sense, it didn’t work for ARMYs. In fact, the fandom confirmed that he was lying when BANGTAN TV recently uploaded a video of him running around and doing some push-ups at the “ON” set.

RM was wearing a sleeveless top, exposing his arms. The comments section was filled with praises about the BTS leader’s fit physique. This time, he cannot blame his shirt anymore.

RM’s arms were also highlighted during BTS’ MAP OF THE SOUL ON:E virtual concert. While forming a huge heart with his arms, the idol’s sleeves lifted, exposing his guns.

“You can’t spell arms without RM,” one wrote. “OMG!!!! Look at his biceps ohhh baby u gonna be bulky love you a lot,” another one commented.

ARMYs even started trending the hashtag #BigHitCloseTheGym after the members started getting buff. Jungkook was the first one that fans noticed to have transformed his body from boy to man. Then RM followed, but many noticed that he seems to focus more on his arms.

While #BigHitCloseTheGym is just a fun trend, it’s not a baseless hashtag at all. In fact, even J-Hope, who is known for his slender physique is getting buff as well.

Just like RM, J-Hope also seems to be focusing on one specific area of his body. But the “Ego” rapper is not making his arms buff like the BTS leader, he is building more muscles on his chest area instead.

J-Hope has been enjoying his progress by wearing tight-fit and low-cut tops to expose his firm chest. In fact, the “Chicken Noodle Soup” hitmaker’s three names — Hoseok, Hobi, and JHOPE — quickly trended on Twitter after he flaunted his incredible physique during their “Dynamite” performance at 2020 MMA.
