V is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve and is not afraid to openly show his feelings. Most idols are very careful with what they say and do to avoid confusion and controversy — but the BTS star is not one of them.

Some see celebrities as robots for doing everything that they are told to and avoiding anything that they are prohibited. So for the “Sweet Night” singer to choose to be himself on and off camera is a breath of fresh air.

But even though ARMYs are already used to V’s very open personality, they were not ready when he called J-Hope this particular name in the recent Run BTS! episode. The boys were playing a mystery game where RM is the ticket booth operator, Jin is a detective, Suga is a photographer, J-Hope is a hairdresser, Jimin is a gang leader, V is a wealthy man, and Jungkook is an arcade owner.

The BTS members had to find the culprit who broke the ARMY headstone. They surveyed the field to find evidence. They first went to J-Hope’s barbershop, then to Suga’s studio, Jungkook’s arcade, RM’s theater, V’s mansion, and lastly to Jimin’s house.

While at Jimin’s house, V, who is a professional actor, broke out of character to say something to J-Hope that made a lot of ARMYs squeal. After scouring the place for a couple of minutes, JH was sure that they have found what they needed to find and had to move along.

“I think it’s over. I know who did it,” J-Hope proclaimed. V walked closely to JH and gently grabbed his shoulder. “It’s not over yet,” he said. The “Ego” rapper smiled brightly and giggled and offered him a handshake, but V had a different thing in mind.

V pulled J-Hope closer and whispered, “Jagiya, it’s not over yet.” Jagiya means “honey, baby, darling, sweetheart, etc.” in English. So basically, V said, “Baby, it’s not over yet” to JH.

As expected, ARMYs went wild after watching the scene. They know that V adores J-Hope, but they didn’t expect that he would be bold enough to call him “Jagiya.”

“I literally repeat that six times like I thought I misheard it or it has another meaning because the subtitle didn’t translate it. T one wrote. “It’s not just the word IT'S WHAT TAE DOES NEXT AFTER SAYING JAGIYA. Like make it more obvious,” another one shared.

This is not the first time V showed extra affection towards J-Hope. The BTS singer had always been very open about how much he loves his Hobi hyung.
