J-Hope is someone who radiates positivity that ARMYs gave him the title “Sunshine” for his bright and bubbly personality. But when it comes to work, the “Ego” rapper is extremely focused and professional.

While RM is the leader of BTS, J-Hope is the dance leader, so everybody listens to him when it comes to their choreography and performances. And during a Guerilla Periscope Q&A in 2016, the BTS star made RM smile from ear to ear with his answer to a query.

J-Hope was asked if who among the members improved the most at dancing, and he picked RM. The BTS leader is a good dancer, but he and Jin were considered weaker in that department compared to the other boys.

RM and Jin have received a lot of criticism for their dancing skills, so the “Persona” rapper was extremely happy to hear that J-Hope noticed his improvement. BTS has learned to brush all the hate off over the years, and it’s obvious that RM was more focused on JH’s acknowledgment than the trolls.

As for Jin, he wrote “When I'm dancing and Hobi looks at me fondly” in his BTS 2018 Festa list as one of his little happiness. This goes to show that he truly respects J-Hope as their dance leader.

Even though J-Hope only picked RM as the one who improved the most at dancing at the time, he commended both the BTS leader and Jin in one of the episodes of BANGTAN TV. When JH was asked, “Who was the slowest to learn the ‘On’ choreography?” his reply was a lot different than anyone expected.

Instead of choosing one of his members as the weak link, J-Hope chose himself. “I think I was a little slow, this time,” he shared, which ARMYs didn’t buy because he’s always the first one to memorize the choreography and get it right. In fact, Jimin previously shared that he and the other members took hours to learn the “DNA” choreography while JH learned it in just a few minutes.

Many believed that J-Hope was just being polite by choosing himself as the slowest one to learn the “On” choreography. And it also seemed like the BTS rapper knew that people would think that RM and Jin were the slowest ones, so he made sure to commend them before the trolls go to work.

“Actually, everyone got it down really well… Namjoon and Jin did such a good job,” he said.
