Black Clover Episode 158, titled "The Beginning of Hopes and Despair," has accidentally aired in Korea, giving the leakers the chance to leak out the new episode all over the net. Some have managed to save the latest installment, although it is strictly prohibited to watch its unofficial release.
The unintentional release of Black Clover Episode 158 surprised many as the anime is on a break this week. Anyhow, despite the illegality, it cannot be denied that the new episode bears a stunning movie-like visual, giving fans all the reason to wait for its official release.
The leaked preview images, via BlockToro, showed Noelle, Luck, and other characters look cleaner and more mature after the time skip. However, its opening scenes are not leaked out, so it is still much better to wait for its actual episode's release so that fans can enjoy its full glory.
EconoTimes noted the new installment might feature the stronger opponent the good mages are about to face after the Magic Knights have defeated the Elves and Julius got revived. With the Heart Kingdom's help, the knights have to attack the Spade Kingdom's rulers, the Dark Triad, to save the mage world.
By the looks of it, the new episode's title suggests featuring the beginning of the Spade Kingdom arc, just like in the manga. It may also adapt three chapters of the manga series.
Hence, there is a strong possibility that Black Clover Episode 158 may end with the Dark Triad's meeting, where they may attack the Clover and Heart Kingdom. Here, fans may see Zenon, Vanica, and Dante's full appearances. These three are the siblings that compose the Dark Triad and will invade the Spade Kingdom.
Meanwhile, the new installment will feature the six-month time skip, in which the heroes underwent intense training with the Heart Kingdom's Spirit Guardians, per Spoiler Guy. It will also show how Asta and other Clover Kingdom mages have surpassed the mage hierarchy's level and the Arcena stage.
Asta, too, has finally reached the mage's Arcane stage. Gadjah also reveals how powerful the Heart Kingdom mages can be, helping the Clover Kingdom mages to evolve much further.
Black Clover Episode 158 is officially set to be out on Tuesday, January 5. Fans are strongly advised to watch the anime on its official websites and platforms to support its creators and workers.
