Jin is a social butterfly. The BTS star has a personality that you can leave him in a place full of strangers, and he will come out with a bunch of friends.

However, the 28-year-old singer and songwriter would often joke around not having any friends. Jin is a member of the biggest boy group on the planet right now, which means that his hectic schedule makes it hard for him to meet people unless it’s work-related.

Before the coronavirus pandemic, Jin’s job and status allowed him and the rest of the BTS boys to meet international celebrities. They are even huge fans of a couple of the stars that they met. But eagle-eyed ARMYs discover that Mr. Worldwide Handsome was friends with a Hollywood star during his pre-debut days, and he wasn’t even aware of it.

ARMYs found a photo of a young Jin posing with three of his school mates. The picture of the boys is making netizens freak out for one particular reason.

You see, the student on the very left side is Mitchell Hope, who is a famous Australian actor and model. He is known for his portrayal as Beast and Belle’s son, Ben, in the Disney Channel Original Movies, Descendants and Descendants 2.

Some ARMYs may not be aware of this, but Jin went to Australia for a vacation when he was younger and took some language training there. This is where the snap with Mitchell Hope was taken.

Both Jin and Mitchell Hope had no idea at the time that they were taking a photo with someone who’s going to be popular in a couple of years. Netizens took to social media to share their thoughts about the amazing coincidence.

“Kim Seok Jin’s life is a freaking movie,” one wrote. “This is so fascinating,” another one shared.

A netizen even claimed that Jin and Mitchell Hope’s good looks may have played a huge role in their meeting. “This is crazy… they say handsome people only hang out with other handsome people,” they noted.

Meanwhile, ARMYs have been begging Big Hit Entertainment to let RM, Jin, Suga, J-Hope, Jimin, V, and Jungkook be on a K-drama. The boys have honed their acting skills throughout the years, and many believe that they are now ready to take over the movie and TV series scene.

For now, V is the only one who had a taste of what it’s like to be an actor. The “My Time” singer was part of the cast of the 2016 K-drama, Hwarang: The Poet Warrior Youth.
