Attack on Titan Chapter 136 manga cover is now out, hinting at the future of Levi. As the squad captain looks damaged in the cover art, it seems things are not looking good for him.
The cover image shows Levi is heavily bandaged, insinuating something terrible may happen to him in Attack on Titan Chapter 136. Although not everything seen in the cover art will make its way to the storyline, it seems to say something about the character.
According to BlockToro, Levi may die a heroic death as the manga is about to end. It can't be denied that Levi still wants to face the Beast Titan Zeke, but he is too injured even to put up a fight.

Levi has been put on the sidelines in the previous chapters, so this may be the best time to put him under the spotlight. He has cut fingers, can't even hold blades, sustained a severe leg injury, and can't move, so what will be his future?
Does this mean Levi will meet his demise? If it's not for Hange, Levi is already dead. So if ever he will die in Attack on Titan Chapter 136, it should have a huge impact on the storyline.
By the looks of it, he will try to bomb Eren to end things once and for all. However, there are theories Eren is controlling Zeke, so the Beast Titan may come in between him and Levi.
If this happens, Levi may do everything to save the alliance, even if it means he has to risk his life. Anyhow, fans should only take this assumption with a grain of salt as nothing has been confirmed yet.
Devdiscourse noted Attack on Titan Chapter 136 might feature several twists and turns, from Levi to Zeke to Eren. The final Titan war has begun, and more Titans may be coming their way.
Anyhow, Comicbook cited fans aren't ready to see the manga officially ends yet. News recently emerged Hajim Isayama's manga series would end its 11-year run in April.
So, Attack on Titan will officially come close to its 139th Chapter on April 9. This only means that the series only has four chapters left, including Attack on Titan Chapter 136.
This makes fans think of how the series will wrap up everything in the last few chapters that it will drop. The Attack on Titan enthusiasts have been preparing themselves for the series' ending when Isayama revealed it was already 98% completed in November.
However, it looks like they will never be ready at all. Attack on Titan Chapter 136 is set to be out on Friday, January 9.
