Black Clover Episode 159, titled "Quiet Lakes and Forest Shadows," will begin the Spade Kingdom arc, where an epic battle is about to ensue. Fortunately, there will be no break this time, and fans are about to see what will happen next without any delay.

As Black Clover Episode 159 is about to begin a new arc, the anime, in general, is about to catch up with the manga series. Here, Asta and Noelle will brave an unfamiliar place that has been subjugated by an unknown enemy.

The new episode's preview images and trailer show Asta and Noelle making their way to the Foreign Region. A mysterious opponent has terrorized this place, and viewers may soon meet this new enemy.

By the looks of it, things are not going well in this place, BlockToro noted. There is also a "sound monster" lurking behind, and maybe watching the two protagonists.

In Black Clover Episode 158, Loropechika revealed the Spade Kingdom's army was on their way to reach the kingdom's borders. Gadjan then added that the Spade Kingdom had successfully conquered the Diamond Kingdom for the last six months.

They had managed to advance toward the Clover Kingdom and the Heat Kingdom, OtakuKart cited. Leopold warned they had prepared themselves for a massive attack as an epic battle was about to begin.

However, he acknowledged the enemies were one step ahead. Anyhow, Luck assured them he was ready for a big fight anytime, while Loropechika asked everyone to stop and kill the coming nemesis.

The Spade Kingdom's forces were in the Strong Magic Region, while Fin knew the timing would play a significant role in the attack. He also believed it would be much easier for them to face the enemies if they drew themselves closer to them instead of getting near them.

Anyhow, Mimosa seemed to be convinced they would be weak when they managed to reach the border after getting through the Strong Magic Region. So, she suggested they should strike them at that very moment.

What will happen next will be seen in Black Clover Episode 159, which will be out on Tuesday, January 12, 2021, on Crunchyroll and Funimation. Kanichi Katou wrote while Ayataka Tanemura directed the new episode, per The Cinemaholic.

The new installment's release time depends on the country and time zone fans are in, but it is expected to drop at 6:25 p.m. Eastern Standard Time. So, the international audience can adjust the difference from this time.
