What is The 100 Player Mod in "Among Us"
The 100 Player mod is just like any other mods but with 100 players. 100 players are either hunting or being hunted by each one until only one team is left. This is definitely a chaotic, fun and exciting way to play the popular multiplayer social deduction title.
How To Download And Install The 100 Player Mod
Initially, the 100 Player "Among Us" mod is only available in Socksfor1's Discord. Users interested to get a hold of the mod need to access a Discord server and level up (Level 5) to access it. However, fans have discovered a way to download and install the mod without the need to access a Discord server.
As for the installation process, players won't have a hard time since it is easy and simple. First, they need to download the file. After that, they need to open Steam and look for "Among Us" in their library. Players need to right-click it and select Manage, then head to Browse Local Files.
After that, they have to extract the contents of the downloaded zip file and drag the contents of the zip file into the "Among Us" folder. If players followed the steps correctly, they should be able to host their own 100-players game. To make sure players executed the process correctly, they would find Socksfor1 in red text under the ping when they are in the lobby. This is because the mod was originally created for a YouTube video.

It is worth noting that before installing the mod, players should make sure that they back up their game files. The 100 Player mod will replace the "Among Us" files and mess up the classic game. When players are done playing with the mod and would like to go back to the classic game, they can just uninstall it and re-install the game's original version.
Unfortunately, the 100 Player mod is available to PC players only. Players on iOS, Android and Nintendo Switch will not be able to share the fun of this mod.
