Many fans and followers see Melania Trump as a fashion icon. Apart from being an international model during her younger years, she has, also, continued to wear fashionable sartorial pieces that numerous individuals adore and praise.

However, the First Lady has seemingly had her fair share of "awkward" wardrobe malfunctions. The Daily Express recently covered a report about her latest faux pas, detailing all the mockeries she received from netizens.

As it happened, Melania wore a green dress, alongside Donald Trump. Several individuals immediately took advantage of the piece, especially its color, because it served as a clean "green screen" for editing purposes.

A Twitter user posted an edited clip of Melania Trump, wearing the dress in question while walking with her husband. The edit displayed different kinds of images on the surface of the dress, including photos of the coronavirus cells, Joe Biden, Black Lives Matter tags, and a lot more to poke fun at the First Lady.

The publication, then, revealed some of the actual criticisms other Twitter users posted on the platform. The coronavirus cells do "make a nice pattern," one individual quipped.

"Christmas and kid (sic) in cages should have been included," another netizen suggested. "Who wears a 10-square-foot green screen and thinks that there won't be consequences," a different critic said.

While the mockeries and criticisms overflowed in the comment section of the post, fans and followers tried to defend Melania Trump. Reports, also, noted that many of these individuals appeared to have slammed the critics on the same thread.

Some stated that it was "disrespectful" for the First Lady, adding that the move was a "childing" one. One netizen argued that it was "bullying," and something that was "uncalled for."

Another Twitter user countered, as well, that how can critics call themselves adults if they do these kinds of things. The same individual added that most of the detractors "hate President Trump" for all the things he says. In the end, the netizen left them a rhetorical question, saying how could they separate themselves from Donald Trump if the rest of them, also, do the same thing.

This is not the first time Melania Trump suffered a wardrobe malfunction. Earlier last year, she struggled with her dress while getting off the Air Force One.

A separate report from the Daily Express covered the incident, detailing how the First Lady handled her dress. Based on the clips, the air was too strong as they disembark the plane. She tried to hold on to her Carolina Herrera white dress to avoid it from blowing up in the wind.
