Rumors are rife that Meghan Markle is planning to reconcile with her father, Thomas Markle, in an attempt to quell an impending negative press that could arise once upon the release of the tell-all book of Samantha Markle, the Duchess of Sussex's sister.

A source told New Idea that Prince Harry's wife is thinking of extending the olive branch to her father. Apparently, Meghan "panicked" when she learned that Samantha would go on the media trail to promote her new book, The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister Part 1, and Thomas might be joining his eldest child in the press conferences.

Samantha's memoir has been described as "packed with angry sentiments" directed towards Meghan, which will bring more controversy for the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. The source said that it would be in their best interest to make peace with Thomas to "stem the bad press" that will be generated by Samantha's book release.

The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister Part 1 will allegedly make Meghan "uncomfortable," Samantha hinted. However, she thinks that the royal family will appreciate what she will reveal in the book as it will be "warm, funny, honest and heartfelt."

Meghan hasn't seen nor spoken to her father since she exchanged vows with Prince Harry in 2018. Thomas, who is a 76-year-old retiree, is also suffering from heart problems and feels that he doesn't have a long time to live. He hasn't even seen his grandson, Archie Harrison,

But Omid Scobie, the author of Finding Freedom, Meghan and Harry's unofficial biography, belied rumors that the Duchess of Sussex is worried about Samantha's book. Speaking with Evening Standard, Scobie said that the sisters haven't seen each other since 2008.

Samantha apparently doesn't know her sister since they do not have a relationship. If they do not have a relationship, then Samantha won't have interesting things to say about Meghan other than what she has been telling the public in the last two years.

Meghan's sister has been her vocal critic on social media, prompting Twitter to suspend her account in 2019. The Florida police also investigated Samantha for cyberbullying the Duchess of Sussex.

In line with cyberbullying, Meghan and Harry said they will not open a social media account once they've established Archewell. An insider told The Times of London that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex want to avoid trolls on social media, especially after Meghan revealed in a podcast interview that she became "the most trolled person" in the entire world in 2019.
