Thomas Markle, the father of Meghan Markle, the Duchess of Sussex, is excited about the release of the tell-all book his other daughter, Samantha Markle, will release this January.

The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister, Part 1 will reportedly delve on the "hidden truths" about Meghan's family and it will shock her royal fans but please the royal family.

Thomas told Us Weekly that he is very pleased of his eldest daughter's accomplishment and that he's looking forward to hearing Samantha discuss the contents of the book. Meghan's half-sister has started the press interviews to promote her work and told The Sun that she's unsure if her royal sister will be comfortable with what she wrote.

However, Samantha said that she hopes the royal family will find her tell-all "honest, heartfelt and funny." She also reassured the royals that they would have nothing to be uncomfortable about.

Samantha also revealed to Us Weekly that The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister, Part 1 will indeed be released as a two-parter. The first book will have 330 pages, but she didn't say how soon will Part 2's release follow.

But royal correspondent Omid Scobie, who co-wrote the Duke and Duchess of Sussex unofficial biography, Finding Freedom, said that Meghan is the least bit worried about Samantha's upcoming book release.

In an interview with Evening Standard, the royal expert said that Samantha has been talking about the book for three years and likely doesn't have "anything interesting to say" since she does not have a relationship with her royal sister. The siblings have been estranged since 2008, even before Meghan became a successful TV actress and then a member of the British royal family.

Scobie also said that Samantha doesn't have actual insights about Meghan since they barely spent time together as siblings in their younger years. The royal correspondent also said that another publisher turned down the book because it didn't have the "goods to offer," hence the release's delay.

The royal author also said that Meghan and Harry are not worried about The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister since they do not focus on the past. They believe that the book will simply be a rehash of stories Samantha has told the tabloids in the last few years.

Samantha is at least 17 years older than Meghan; thus, they didn't particularly have a close relationship. Meghan didn't invite her and another sibling, Thomas Markle Jr., to her royal wedding to Prince Harry.

But the older sister has been making noise in the press about Meghan's estranged relationship with their father. She has kept urging her royal sister to patch things up with Thomas because Samantha feared he doesn't have more time due to his heart condition.

Thomas hasn't talked to nor seen Meghan for more than two years. He has also not met his grandson, Archie Harrison, who was born in 2019.
