Riot Games finally revealed the release window of "League of Legends: Wild Roft" beta for the Americas along with its other plans for the game.

The latest information was shared on the official Twitter account of "League of Legends: Wild Rift." According to the tweet, Riot Games intends to launch the game's open beta in the Americas in March 2021. The devs also share that it is currently working in different ways to ensure that players can access the extensive list of champions as soon as they sign up for the game. More details will be revealed soon, Riot Games promised fans.

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" has around 50 champions, and Riot Games says that it plans to introduce more in 2021. Players should see an average of 2 champions every month, with the devs hinting at the inclusion of Katarina and Rammus. Unfortunately, no specific date for the game's release in North America and South America was revealed.

Riot Games has not mentioned anything either about the mobile MOBA title's release in India. It can be recalled that when the game was launched in October 2020, devs mentioned that it wouldn't be available to North and South America until 2021. A lot of fans in the "League of Legends" community were immensely disappointed at that time.

To compensate for the delayed-release in the regions, "League of Legends: Wild Rift" Executive Producer Michael Paladin Chow assured players in these regions that they would receive incentives.

Other "League of Legends: Wild Rift" Details

Over the past months, Riot Games has been transparent with its fans. It has bared the reasons for the delayed release of the game's beta in different regions all over the world. One of the major factors affecting the game's delayed launch is the COVID-19 pandemic. Riot Games first launched the game's open beta to players in Singapore, Malaysia, Indonesia, the Philippines, South Korea and Thailand in October 2020.

It later released the game's beta to players in Europe, Russia, CIS, Turkey, the Middle East and North Africa on Dec. 10. The game developer also mentioned that it is currently working on an ARAM mode for "League of Legends: Wild Rift," which will be available for testing in the later part of 2021.

Riot Games also shared its plan of expanding its eSports structure to new titles. This includes "Legends of Runeterra," "Teamfight Tactics" and "League of Legends: Wild Rift."

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" is now in its open beta phase. The game is currently available in various regions all over the world. Players can enjoy this MOBA title on iOS and Android devices.
