Riot Games officially confirmed that its first-ever patch for "League of Legends: Wild Rift" this year is on its way. The patch introduces five new champions in the game aside from several changes, a new season, a new feature, to name a few. Here are some important details players should know about "Wild Rift" patch 2.0.

New Champions in "League of Legends: Wild Rift"

Riot Games released the official patch 2.0 notes, confirming what it has been teasing over the past days. Players will finally get their hands on the five champions from Bandle City. These champions are Corki, The Daring Bombardier, Kennen, The Heart of the Tempest, Tristana, The Yordle Gunner, Lulu, The Fae Sorceress and Teemo, The Swift Scout.

New Features In "League Of Legends: Wild Rift"

The upcoming patch also introduces a new feature to the mobile MOBA title called Party Finder. This latest addition enables players to find suitable allies and enjoy the Summoner's Rift easily. Making the lobby public is easy for party owners.

All they have to do is tap the option located on the top right corner of the lobby screen. Meanwhile, players can join open lobbies by tapping Option located at the bottom left corner of the home screen. Moreover, players have the option to filter open lobbies by type. The new Party Finder feature automatically recommends several lobbies that players can join.

Apart from the Party Finder, Riot Games also adds Social Sharing in "League of Legends: Wild Rift." This enables players to save their stats to their camera roll or share it on Facebook. This new feature is available with the end-of-game scoreboard, end-of-game personal performance, season rank, career most played champ, new champ acquired, leaderboard screens and new skin acquired.

 

Other features introduced in the game with the release of patch 2.0 includes Champion Mastery emotes that players receive upon attaining Mastery Level five with a champion. There is also the Tutorial Optimization feature that prompts players to take performance-improving tutorials based on their gameplay.

New skins are also available with the launch of patch 2.0. This includes Sad Robot Amumu, Urfrider Corki, Arcade Corki, Star Guardian Janna, Star Guardian Jinx and Arctic Ops Kennen. Other new skins that players could enjoy include Star Guardian Lulu, Dragon Trainer Lulu, Star Guardian Lux, Cottontail Teemo, Guerilla Tristana and Arclight Varus. Little Devil Teemo, Little Demon Tristana, Wicked Lulu, Super Kennen and Star Guardian Ezreal are coming too.

Other Details

Riot Games also shared the schedule of free to play champions in "League of Legends: Wild Rift," From jan. 7 until Jan. 13, FTP champions are Barum, Camille, Fizz, Graves, Jhin, Malphite, Orianna, Shyvana, Sona, and Varus. Meanwhile, Akali, Alistar, Dr. Mundo, Drave, Jarvan IV, Miss Fortune, Soraka, Tryndamere, Xin Zhao, and Zed are the free to play champions between Jan. 14 and Jan. 20.
