Game developers release patch notes to inform players of the changes it made to the game. There are instances when not everything is shared with the gaming community. And, it appears it's what happened to one of the most powerful weapons in "Call of Duty Mobile" over the Holiday season.

"Call of Duty Mobile" devs announced that it nerfed the akimbo Fennec, applying changes on its accuracy, reload speed, and damage. Interestingly, YouTuber Bobby Plays shared that it uncovered several changes to the fan-favorite weapon ASM10. The assault rifle becomes one of the most preferred guns in the game because of its ability to eliminate an opponent with just three shots at 20 meters.

Several players noticed the change in ASM10, particularly on its standard mag. According to their observations, the mag size of the assault rifle is now down to 25 from its standard 30 rounds. Unlike before, the ASM10 will now be less forgiving, and players could choose to sacrifice mobility over the extended magazine or just simply adjust their playstyle.

This adjustment on the ASM10 could trigger players to look for alternatives like the Peacekeeper MK2 or the DR-H, which offers better fire rates, more mag capacity, and better ADS speed. While to some players the change is just minimal, Bobby Plays discovered that it's more than just small adjustments to the ASM10.

The content creator shared that several other "Call of Duty Mobile" weapons received secret adjustments. Interestingly, these changes are not in the developer patch notes. Bobby Plays mentioned in a tweet other weapons that received adjustments in Season 13.

This includes the increase in ADS time of the Man-O-War and the nerf in Chopper's recoil. The devs allegedly nerfed the mobility of its Heavy Handle underbarrel attachment. As a result, players will now have to fire the weapon from the hip instead of ADS.

The content creator also said that the DRH is the only three-shot assault rifle that has not received adjustments. "Call of Duty Mobile" Season 13 is well underway, and players are not at all surprised that the devs are taking a closer look at the weapon balance before rolling out more content.

The current season introduced a lot of content to the game. This includes two new weapons, new maps, features, and changes on different aspects and components of the hit mobile shooter title.

"Call of Duty Mobile" has recently launched in China. The game is available on iOS and Android devices.
