Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist season 2 episode 3 will continue to see Zoey Clarke (Jane Levy) getting used to her powers and dealing with the issues surrounding her personal life. In next week's episode, titled "Zoey's Extraordinary Dreams," she will be haunted by some of the events that happened to her life as of late.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist season 2 episode 3 sees the titular character still trying to live a normal life even though her ability to hear people's song in the heart affects her. This time, her bad dreams will start to haunt her, causing her personal life to go sideways.

Zoey has been going through in the previous installment. The death of her father, Mitch Clarke (Peter Gallagher) has hugely impacted her. She's still mourning and grieving, yet she recognized that her ability remains to be a part of her life. That means she'll continue hearing people's song in the heart.

In Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist season 2 episode 3, the titular character will remain to navigate her new identity. She knows that her ability could help a lot of people, but then, she's still on the stage of discovering who she really is.

Her family and love life will play out in her storyline, as well. Her romantic relationship, in particular, has become one of the most interesting parts of her storyline. She's in the middle of a complicated love triangle -- with Max (Skylar Astin) and Simon (John Clarence Stewart) vying for her heart and attention.

There will be a lot of changes in Zoey's life as the second installment progresses. It's yet to be seen what her bad dreams were all about. It's also uncertain whether or not such dreams will continue to haunt her beyond Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist season 2 episode 3.

Meanwhile, aside from Zoey's storyline, the upcoming episode will also bring stories to the titular character's family members. For instance, Jenna Kang (Jee Young Han) helps Zoey's mother, Maggie (Mary Steenburgen), in finding her creative spark again.

In another report, Lauren Graham is leaving her role, Joan, after the character took a new job in Singapore. This wasn't originally planned, but everything has changed because of the pandemic. The actress's filming schedules were conflicted due to the health crisis. The good news is that the musical comedy-drama may still find a way to include Graham's character at some point.

Zoey's Extraordinary Playlist season 2 episode 3 airs on Tuesday, Jan. 19, on NBC.
