Game developer miHoyo just launched the Adrift in the Harbor character banner in "Genshin Impact," which features the five-star character Ganyu. The banner is a part of the recent update rolled out in the game. Interestingly, a new leak shares brief footage showing Xiao showcasing some of his abilities.
Xiao is one of the rumored playable characters arriving in "Genshin Impact" via update 1.3. While miHoyo has not yet confirmed his launch in the game next month, a player who was one of the closed beta tester of update 1.3 leaks a video showcasing Xiao and his abilities. Sadly, the player was banned and reportedly hit with legal action by miHoyo.
The brief footage is less than 30 seconds and a bit blurry but it is easy to see Xiao and his abilities. There are rumors in the community that miHoyo is reworking Xiao's abilities but looking at the video, it seems that his abilities look almost the same as those seen in previous leaks. Some "Genshin Impact" players who have seen the video claim that the version of Xiao is at Constellation 6.
This is because of the massive damage he causes that wipes our enemies easily. Als, players noted that he performed his elemental Skill twice before a cooldown was triggered. Among Xiao's abilities shown in the footage includes Lemniscatic Wind Cycling that enables him to lunge forward while wielding a spear and dealing Anemo DMG to enemies in his path. Xiao's Ultimate, allegedly called Bane of All Evil is also shown in the leaked "Genshin Impact" footage.

Rumors have it that Xiao would be launched in "Genshin Impact" in update 1.3, which reportedly arrives on Feb. 2. It is worth noting that this leak is not official. While the footage clearly shows Xiao, it is still possible that miHoYo will do some tweaking on his abilities before he finally launches in the game. In this case, players should take this leak with a pinch of salt.
Meanwhile, players can now obtain the five-star Cryo archer Ganyu as she is the featured character in the current banner of the game. Players can make Wishes and spend Primogems to get their hands on Ganyu. Aside from her, there are other characters available in the banner. Players can also get the four-star character Xingqui and Noelle. The Ganyu banner is available until Feb. 2, which means players still have ample time to stack up Primogems to ensure they get her.
