Things will go pretty intense in One Piece Chapter 1002. Eiichiro Oda revealed the Wano war would be bigger than Marineford, and despite the intensity of the fight fans saw in the previous chapter, it was only the beginning.
A lot of characters are now in Wano as the intense war continues. However, as the fight is far from over, the Marines may also join the battle in One Piece Chapter 1002.
The previous chapter features an entire fight, so fans hope to see more in the next chapter, taking the war to the next level. The battle between the Supernova and Yonko is only starting as Kaido, and Big Mom just made their powerful transformations.
According to BlockToro, there are theories the Supernova may not get the better off of the Yonko that easily. Luffy, Zoro, Kid, Killer, and Law may all have a hard time to defeat Kaido and Big Mom in their ultimate form.
Someone may help these guys to bring the antagonists down, and it may be Shanks. Anyhow, it may be far better if they can defeat these antagonists on their own.
One Piece Chapter 1001 officially began the fight between the Supernova and Yonko, Game n Guide noted. Kaido would realize the damage Luffy's attack brought him that put all the latter's alliance in awe.
However, instead of bringing him down, Kaido even got excited, knowing only a few could go against him. He even proudly said Luffy might be one of them.
Kaido then asked Big Mom to stand back as he wanted to see how strong their opponents were. So, Luffy, Kid, Law, Zoro, and Killer prepared for an all-out attack against the Beast Pirates captain.
Zoro and Killer used their swords, followed by Luffy, Law, and Kid's combined blows, which all landed on Kaido's body. However, it seemed the latter didn't mind the charges, leaving him unscathed.
From here, he made a dramatic transformation, turning into his ultimate dragon form. He claimed the victory by shouting the one who would win the battle would be the next Pirate King.
