Riot Games Announces today the arrival of the much-awaited champion Teemo in "League of Legends: Wild Rift" making him the last character to join the current Yordle Expedition event.

Teemo is Now Playable in "League of Legends: Wild Rift"

The announcement is made on the official Twitter account of "League of Legends: Wild Rift." Riot describes Teemo as the Swift Scout joining other yordles who were recently introduced in the game. Players can now unlock Lulu, Kennen, Corki and Tristana.

Along with his arrival, Riot Games released a couple of skins for Teemo. Players can garb the adorable yordle in Cottontail Teemo or Little Devil Teemo skins. The devs did not make any changes to his skill set, which means it remains the same as his skills in the game PC counterpart "League of Legends."

Teemo is a part of the ongoing Yordle Expedition event in "League of Legends: Wild Rift." The event runs until Jan. 29, which means players still have ample time to complete the challenges to unlock the new playable champions. For those who want to purchase Teemo, he is available at the in-game event shop for 5,500 Blue Motes or 725 Wild Cores.

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" Teemo Build

Teemo is one of the most loved and also hated champions in the game. The Swift Scout can inflict powerful damage and can slow and blind enemies. He is usually played in the top lane as a counter to fighters like Darius and Garen.

Players can equip Teemo with unique item sets to maximize his strength. This includes the Nashor Tooth coupled with the Gluttonous Greaves and Teleport Enchant. Players can finish the build with a Liandry's Torment.

For his runes, players can equip Teemo with Grasp of the Undying, coupled with Brutal, Spirit Walker, and Hunter Genius. For his Summoner's Spells, players can use the Ignite to help him torch target enemy champion and deal between 60 and 410 true damage in over five seconds. It also allows him to inflict Grievous Wounds, which reduces healing effects by 50%.

Another Summoner's Spell that players should use on Teemo is the Flash. It allows him to teleport for a short distance forward or towards the designated direction.

"League of Legends: Wild Rift" is currently in its open beta phase. The game is available in various regions all over the world. It is scheduled to launch in North America and South America sometime in the Spring of 2021. The game is playable on iOS and Android devices.
