Legacies season 3 episode 3 is coming next week on The CW and it will finally feature the long-awaited musical episode. This particular theme has been already teased even before the official premiere of the third installment. Now, here is what fans can expect in "Salvatore: The Musical."

Legacies season 3 episode 3 is going to be different compared to the previous episodes of the fantasy drama. A lot of viewers have been waiting for the musical-themed episode, especially since the story is being teased ahead of the arrival of the latest installment.

Within this episode, most of the characters won't be dealing with the chaos and troubles looming around the corner. Instead, there'll be a lot of preparations and fun moments coming along the way. Everyone is excited and getting ready for the special occasion.

As per the synopsis of Legacies season 3 episode 3, the students at the Salvatore School are preparing and putting so much effort into the special event. They have to plan for a musical that's all about the founding of the school at the behest of the new "mysterious new guidance counselor."

All of them are doing their best to make it successful and they have certain tasks that must be accomplished. For instance, Landon (Aria Shahghasemi) spends most of his time writing the musical. Jed (Ben Levin), Kaleb (Chris Lee), Josie (Kaylee Bryant), and Lizzie (Jenny Boyd) are all diving into their roles.

Hope (Danielle Rose Russell) will appear in Legacies season 3 episode 3, as well. However, it looks like she's not interested in the event as she distanced herself from the musical. It's yet to be seen why she's removing herself from what's happening around her.

Hope has been through a lot since the premiere and she likely has a reason why she does not want to take part in the musical. Something dark and deeper might be behind all of these and why she decided not to join. This is something that will be explored when the musical episode arrives.

But, before this, The CW will be dropping first the second episode this week. There's a fear of death for everyone in "Goodbyes Sure to Suck." Things could lead to a darker path, putting almost all characters in a life-or-death situation.

The Super Squad learns some devastating news involving one of their own, prompting them to stop whatever they're planning. Alaric (Matthew Davis) is the major concern within this episode. He turns to Sheriff Mac (Bianca Kajlich) as he's seeking help to get timely affairs in order.

Legacies season 3 episode 3 airs on Thursday, Feb. 4, on The CW. The episode is directed by Jason Stone and written by Thomas Brandon.
