The wait for Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8 is now more unbearable after the intense turn of events in Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 7. Eren and the Survey Corps have managed to bring down a total of four strong Titans, leaving them with only one enemy to date—Reiner.

After hearing Falco and Gabi's cries, Reiner woke up from his deep sleep and transformed into an Armored Titan. However, compared to his usual looks, his current Titan form looks different.

Warning: The following details are full of Episode 7 spoilers. Read at your own risk.

Reiner's Armored Titan body is not fully covered with his armor, while every inch of him used to be all wrapped up before.

According to Anime Troop, Reiner's new look may have something to do with his "intent" to die. He even asked why they could just let him "die in peace" after he transformed.

Reiner is clearly depressed. Fans already saw him having suicidal thoughts and even attempting to kill himself in Attack on Titan Season 4 several times. He even asked Eren to kill him instead in the Final Season.

So, when Eren transformed into the Founding Titan, Reiner just turned into Armored Titan to save Falco and not himself. He didn't want to fight anymore and just gave up on life.

Hence, his face looked like his human form and was not completely connected to the Titan's muscles. As Reiner wakes up, it remains to be seen if he will put up a fight against Eren in Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8.

So far, Eren and the Survey Corps have put down four out of Nine Titan Shifters one after another. Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 7 looked like a bloodbath with the successive deaths, CBR noted.

With Eren's Attack Titan form and Mikasa, Levi, and the rest of the Survey Corps' help, their force is unstoppable. Levi had even successfully brought Zeke's Beast Titan in just a snap.

The Jaw Titan's sudden move to attack Eren left Cart Titan alone. With Sasha's excellent shooting ability, she killed Cart Titan's human riders, while Jean fired Thunder Spears.

Eren and Mikasa also joined forces to dismember Porco's Jaw Titan. Knowing he could regenerate, Eren intentionally ripped his limbs off.

Lastly, with the help of Jaw Titan's powerful jaws, Eren finally broke Lara Tybur's crystal, leading to the War Hammer Titan's demise. Helpless without his limbs, Eren forcefully put Lara's crystal inside the Jaw Titan's mouth and shut it as hard as he could.

The crystal was successfully smashed, and the Jaw Titan was left swallowing Lara's blood and body.

Hence, Eren's Attack Titan and Reiner's Armored Titan are the only Titans left on the battlefield. What will happen from here will be seen in Attack on Titan Season 4 Episode 8, which will drop on Sunday, January 31, per International Business Times.
