"Call of Duty Mobile" New Order has a lot in store for players, and aside from the new mode, a new map, and a couple of new weapons, the first season of the game for this year will introduce a new battle royale class called Desperados.

New "Call of Duty Mobile" Battle Royale Class

The announcement of the new battle royale class in "Call of Duty Mobile" was announced earlier on the official Twitter account of the game. The Desperado class will enable players to be an offensive defender and to get back into the fight using the Last Stand. Like all other BR classes in the game, the Desperado has a couple of abilities.

Desperados Abilities

One is a gadget called Shield Turret, and the other is a passive called Last Stand. Shield Turret is a piece of familiar equipment to long-time "Call of Duty" players as it is in "Call of Duty: Modern Warfare" and "Call of Duty: Mobile" multiplayer mode. With the turret, players can be deployed all over the map, which could provide players with the necessary cover. The turret has unlimited ammo and features a shield in front to provide a shield from enemy gunfire.

Unfortunately, the Shield Turret only has 130 HP and does not come with anything to protect itself. While it is a piece of useful equipment, it is also vulnerable to enemy attacks and can be destroyed easily. This could only happen of course if the enemy managed to survive the rain of gunfire.

Meanwhile, the Last Stand is a perk that is already in existence in various "Call of Duty" titles. It was introduced in the series as early as "Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare." The Last Stand offers players the chance to avenge when they took lethal damage.

Instead of dying, players just fall down and pull a pistol with max ammo. Unfortunately, they won't be able to swap or move weapons but could fire to an enemy until the bristol runs out of ammo, when the timer on the perk expires, or when they're hit by an explosion or killstreak.

When Is "Call of Duty Mobile" New Order Happening

The content update for the first season of "Call of Duty Mobile" could arrive as early as Jan. 25 based on the previous rollout patterns. The New Order is scheduled to start on Jan. 26 at 6 p.m. CT. It is not yet clear if the new BR class Desperado will be available at the start of the season.
