V is not the official visual of BTS as that title belongs to Worldwide Handsome Jin. However, the “Sweet Night” singer is considered to be one of the most good looking idols in the K-pop world.
With V’s incredible good looks, it wouldn’t be hard for him to take a good selfie. But just because V takes amazing selfies, that don't mean that he wants to put everything out there. Unfortunately for him, he had a mishap four years ago when he accidentally posted a photo of himself on Twitter.
V is a huge fan of photography, and he even goes by the name Vante when he’s posting the shots that he captured. On June 6, 2017, the BTS star took to Twitter to share a couple of his landscape photos.
What V didn’t know at the time was that he clicked one of his selfie shots on his phone, and it was accidentally included in his Vante collection. The “Stigma” singer quickly deleted the post upon realizing his mistake. He even tried to deny that it was him.
“Please forget that last photo, I clicked the wrong thing It isn’t me,” he tweeted. “That person isn’t me~~ I am right here~~~ Oohahhh~~ Please don’t be disappointed~~~~ That was an app~~ A glasses app~~~~~~ Yeah~~~~~”
But it was too late for V as ARMYs already seen and saved the photo. They also know that it was him in the picture despite his denial.
While V is trying to erase that mishap from his memory, Run BTS! staff made sure that he’ll remember it. In Episode 126 of Run BTS!, J-Hope and V were wearing their penalty shirts as a result of losing a challenge in the previous episode.
The bright pink shirt features reverse sequins that reveals a funny or embarrassing photo. J-Hope was the first one to reveal his penalty snap, which is a picture of him wearing RM’s glasses. The “Ego” rapper took it well, and even proudly flaunted the shirt to everyone.
As for V, he came face to face with a photo that he was dreading for years. When J-Hope reversed the sequins for him, the BTS singer’s face quickly changed from anticipation to embarrassment.
V then left some words of wisdom for everyone. “Stay away from the gallery,” he said.
However, ARMYs believe that the only funny thing about the situation is how V was embarrassed by a gorgeous selfie.
