Snowfall season 4 is officially premiering within a few weeks on FX after encountering production setbacks due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Franklin Saint (Damson Idris) will continue to expand the empire that he's building. However, everything won't be smooth sailing for him.

The recently-released trailer of Snowfall season 4 showed Franklin's struggles before making it to the top. He was a small-time drug before he collaborated with Reed Thompson/Teddy (Carter Hudson). Idris' character significantly evolved after getting used to this kind of world.

Teddy is using the drug trade as a way to fight communism, but Franklin realized that there's no turning back now that he entered the business. He faced a lot of struggles to get where he is right now and he knows that he must continue whatever he already started.

Franklin is ready to take things to the next level. In the clip, he mentioned all the things he experienced -- being beaten, locked up, and even shot. Yet, he's still here and made it clear that he's not going anywhere. He also said that the "cost to be the boss" is picking up a few enemies along the way.

In Snowfall season 4, Franklin will further expand his empire -- even if that means making more enemies. He's going to push his boundaries despite the obstacles he's about to encounter. Also, there could be a competition and Teddy won't be able to help him at all.

Teddy could help Franklin with the supply, but there could be problems in terms of distribution. At the moment, he's still in Nicaragua since he's trying to pursue his government interests. The business might be compromised so they have to be careful with their moves.

In another trailer of Snowfall season 4, Franklin seemingly wants to expand his business beyond Los Angeles. But, while more supplies are coming in, that also means new problems will arise. The turf war is just around the corner as everyone is determined to get to the top.

Beyond Franklin's business, the latest installment will also introduce someone from his past. Adrianna Mitchell is set to play Tanosse, Franklin's former friend and lover. The two grew up in the same neighborhood, but they haven't seen each other for a long time. Although they knew each other, her role in his life is uncertain now. It's yet to be seen whether she could be trusted or not.

Snowfall season 4 is set to premiere on Wednesday, Feb. 24, on FX.
