Samatha Markle, the sister of Meghan Markle, has a new book out which details her anger over the Sussex royal wedding that proceeded despite their father, Thomas Markle's heart attack.

In The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister: A Memoir, Part One, Samantha wrote that their father was upset days before Meghan's wedding to Prince Harry. She said that the royal family never considered postponing the event because Thomas has been recovering. Samantha said that it wasn't unreasonable to move the wedding since the royal family has the resources to make it happen.

Meghan's sister also accused the Duchess of Sussex of being a controlling daughter. The 56-year-old said that Meghan behaves differently when Harry is there but when her husband steps out of the room, a mean version of her sister emerges.

The Duchess of Sussex and Thomas have been estranged since her royal wedding after he collaborated with the paparazzi despite Kensington Palace and Harry's warning. Samantha had an explanation for that incident in her book as well.

She said that a photographer got in touch with her about "discreetly" taking photos of Thomas "in an honest light" after his other photos in the tabloids were intentionally horrible. Samantha said they did not make money off the photo because that wasn't Thomas's goal. He only wanted the royal family and the public to see him with a better image before he walks his daughter down the aisle.

The photographer promised Samantha that he'll take care of her father but on the day of the shoot, everything was apparently filmed on CCTV. Shortly after, the headlines revealed that Thomas "staged" his photos and clips from the CCTV were included. Samantha said she almost choked when she read the story, realizing that they've been duped. Meghan's sister called out the photographer but said that the damage has been done.

The Diary of Princess Pushy's Sister: A Memoir, Part One has been released by Barnes and Noble in the U.S. only and it includes chapters like "Queen Would be Appalled" and "Looking For Mr. Right The Wrong Way." Samantha said that the readers will discover how "truth is stranger than fiction" in her book. She said that she didn't write the book to attack her sister as her book is a personal account on "the good, the bad and the ugly" of a mixed-race family.

Samantha, who is 17 years older than Meghan, first announced the book in 2017. She said she has been writing the follow-up.
