Six years since fans last saw Arata Kasuga on the small screen, is there still a chance for him to return in Trinity Seven Season 2? Fans are still hoping to see the series' continuation after Season 1 ended in December 2014.
With the lack of any information about Trinity Seven Season 2, will it still see the light of the day? As long as the studio behind the anime is yet to officially cancel the show, there is hope for fans.
Based on Kenji Saitou's manga of the same name with Akinari Nao's illustration, there is no news about the series' continuation until today. The latest installment it received was the 2019 movie, Trinity Seven: Heavens Library & Crimson Lord, which renewed fans hope for the second season.
However, until today, according to Epic Dope, the anime's is still yet to get an official renewal. After it received two movies in 2019, there is nothing heard about the franchise since then.
With only 13 episodes, fans believe Season 1 is not enough to tell Arata's story well. They even feel that the plot has become "too convoluted" at times.
Also, it still has a lot of plot points left to cover. So after dropping OVAs and films, rumors started circulating that there will be Trinity Seven Season 2.
In the final episode, fans saw Arata and Trinity Seven activate their Magus modes, while the school's Headmasters watched them from above. They then held their final battle during the destruction of the world's loop.
In addition, fans learned that Hijiri was only a crystal after she collapsed and broke. In the end, Lilith and the other girls made their confession to Arata.
As the first season covers the manga's first 30 chapters, Trinity Seven Season 2 may continue from Chapter 31 and beyond.
TV Season Spoilers noted fans strongly believe the anime deserves another chance. As the second installment is already confirmed, it will surely come to fruition, though it may take time. After the success of its movie, the strong demand for a second season begins.
In early 2019, there were even reports that Season 2 would be out in April of the said year, per The Cinemaholic. However, the date came and went, and there was no second season seen hitting the small screen.
As everyone remains mum about it, it looks like fans have to wait a little longer for the official announcement of Trinity Seven Season 2's coming.
