The Blacklist season 8 episode 7 will shift its focus again on Elizabeth "Liz" Keen (Megan Boone) becoming a Big Bad in the future. The character has been going on a darker path in the past few episodes and the storyline will continue in "Chemical Mary."

Liz hasn't been seen in the series for two weeks and she's coming back in The Blacklist season 8 episode 7. There are a lot of questions on what she's up to at the moment, though it's apparent that she's seeking answers and determined to learn the truth.

Raymond "Red" Reddington (James Spader) recognized that Liz is going on the darker path each day. She is, particularly, angry at him as she witnessed how he killed her mother, Katarina Rostova (Laila Robins). She wanted revenge and to bring him down at the same time.

Liz believes that Red is hiding a lot of secrets from her, and she's eager to find out all about these. But, in the process of seeking the truth, she changed. She already went to some places that she didn't visit in the past and asked dangerous people for some help.

Liz is making her plan after departing to the Task Force. She decided to leave and go somewhere else. No one knows where she is right now and what she's up t. But, it's clear that she's plotting something to kill Red and it's unknown when her next strike will be.

In The Blacklist season 8 episode 7, Liz is seemingly enlisting two dangerous Blacklisters in the past. This is what makes her different from what she was before. She used to take these criminals down -- but she's trying to recruit and get them on her side now.

Now, the Task Force must race against time to stop the dangers brought by these two Blacklisters. Liz possibly used the money she stole from Red and accumulated other resources in the process, that's why she was able to reach out to these people.

It's yet to be seen who these Blacklisters could be, but there are a lot of candidates. For instance, Liz likely enlisted Alexander Kirk (Ulrich Thomsen) due to his connection to her mother. He loved Katarina, and if he finds out Red killed her, he could come back and get back on him.

Elsewhere in The Blacklist season 8 episode 7, Harold Cooper (Harry Lennix) will approach a congressman to get some intel. It can be recalled that Liz gave him the drive as she tried to prove to everyone that Red is a traitor and a double agent.

The Blacklist season 8 episode 7 airs on Friday, Feb. 19, on NBC.
