Meanwhile, the current installment was confirmed to be the final one for the police procedural. The news came a day after when it was announced that NCIS: Hawaii is in development. Reportedly, executive producers Christopher Silber and Jan Nash will move to the said spin-off.
Shortly after the announcement that the series is ending after season 7, Silber and Nash react to the news. In a statement, the two said that it's been a pleasure and honor to work on the series with the cast and crew for more than 150 episodes. While they're disappointed to the show is coming to an end, both of them were grateful to fans who embraced them for "seven wonderful years."
