BTS remains unbeatable, continuously dominating the music scene, not just in Korea but all over the world. Despite being a group, each of them drops their solo mixtapes and V and Jungkook are about to unveil their own.

After releasing their new albums, BE and BE (Essential Edition), V and Jungkook are about to bless fans with KTH1 and JJK1 mixtapes. The two talked about their upcoming new playlists on Be-hind Story and revealed major details about it.

V's KTH1

The name of V's mixtape is derived from his name Kim Tae-Hyung. Thus, KTH1. In the Be-hind Story teaser, he revealed there would 13 songs on his new project.

During a live broadcast, the 25-year-old star unveiled, via Billboard, "Blue & Grey" was supposed to be a part of his solo mixtape. However, after other BTS members heard it, they deemed it a perfect addition to their new album, so it became a part of BE.

He then started writing it in Korean as he originally wanted to sing it in English. V also revealed he wrote it when he was in the lowest point of his life, expressing his "inner sadness and uncertainty." It was the reason why the song was called "Blue & Grey."

Jungkook's JJK1

Like V, Jungkook's mixtape also comes from his name, Jeon Jungkook, so it is called JJK1. The youngest BTS member had been teasing fans of his own album when he previewed his English song, "Decalcomania," on his 2019 birthday.

As the tune is yet to be out until today, fans believe it will be part of his solo mixtape. According to Koreaboo, it remains to be seen if "Decalcomania" will be out along with his new album.

However, there are already two confirmed songs that will be part of it: "Stay" and "Your Eyes Tell." "Stay" is also part of BE, featuring his fellow BTS members Jin and RM.

On the other hand, "Your Eyes" is featured on the b-side of Map of the Soul: 7 ~ The Journey, the group's fourth Japanese album. Both songs are originally intended to be part of his mixtape.

The making of V and Jungkook's mixtapes

V and Jungkook's mixtapes have been in the works for a long while now, per Pink Villa. However, it remains to be seen when these two BTS members' will drop their new CDs. There are assumptions they may release its songs one by one or drop it as a whole.
