Just when fans thought they would not see Sadao Maou anymore, he would be returning to the small screen in The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2. It has been eight years since the first season ended, so it just gives viewers the reason to celebrate.
The franchise announced the coming of The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2 at the recent Kadokawa Corporation's Light Novel Expo. It also comes with the first official trailer and key art to give fans a glimpse of Maou and the gang.
There will be a new set of problems coming Maou's way as satan, and the hero will once again work together to solve these issues. Of course, there will be a lot of skirmishes along the way, but it is what makes the series more fun.
The visuals show Maou, Emi Yusa, Alciel, Chiho, Lucifer, Suzuno Kamazuki, and the new little character, Alas Ramus, via Epic Dope. Some wonder who this small kid is, and by the looks of it, she will be a new character who will be joining the series.

However, instead of making the characters' lives easier, she will make it more complicated in The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2. On the other hand, the new trailer takes fans to a great nostalgia with all the familiar scenes Maou and Emi have shown.
Of course, Lucifer is still addicted to games, while Alciel remains the trio's mother hen. Before the clip ends, Alas appears, and she is set to play an important role in the second season.
As her identity is yet to be revealed, she is said to have a shocking history that fans are about to see. So, how will Maou and Emilia look after her while doing their jobs in the series?
Comicbook added the first season's characters would reprise their roles in The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2. This includes Ryota Ohsaka as Satan, Yoko Hikasa as Emilia, Nao Toyama as Chiho, Yuki Ono as Alciel, Hiro Shimono as Lucifer, and Kanae Ito as Kamazuki. However, there are no details about Alas yet.
The anime tells the story of the Demon Lord Satan, who wants to conquer the world of Ente Isle by taking over its four continents. However, Emila gets in his way and kills the two demon generals that force him and one of his generals, Alciel, to leave Ente Isla, per CBR.
They later find themselves in modern-day Tokyo. So, to survive, Satan has to remove his power and use the pseudonym Maou.
He gets a part-time job at a fast-food restaurant called MgRonald's and even becomes a model employee. Anyhow, they have yet to reveal The Devil is a Part-Timer Season 2's release date.
